Here's what we were working with - an old split-rail wood fence that had completely given up. Posts leaning, rails falling flat on the ground, the whole thing barely holding itself together. It wasn't doing anything useful anymore in terms of keeping the yard defined or looking halfway decent.
We pulled all of it out and started fresh. The new install is a white vinyl 4-rail fence that runs the full length of the backyard. Clean posts, straight lines, consistent spacing from one end to the other. The kind of result that makes the whole yard feel more intentional.
This is something we see a lot - homeowners who have been putting up with a deteriorating fence way longer than they should. Old wood rots, leans, and eventually just falls apart. Replacing it with vinyl means you're not going to be out there every couple of years trying to patch things up or repaint to keep it looking decent.
What we ended up with here is a yard that actually has some definition to it now. The fence runs the full boundary, wraps the corner, and gives the space a finished look that wasn't there before. There's a big difference between a yard that just has grass and a yard that has clear boundaries and structure.
Whether your current fence is rotting out at the posts, leaning badly, or just past the point of being worth repairing - a full replacement is often the right call. Our wood installation and repair work covers everything from partial fixes to complete teardowns and new builds like this one.
